It seems to be all or nothing for me here, either I go on and on at length or never show up for days and weeks on end.
Still hacking away at another apazine which is moving with glacial slowness. Stayed up too late last night running my Dullsville Sim City for another few hundred years (cleaned up nuclear power plant accident and restored municipal solvency). Went to the gym anyway and had nearly a half-hour on the bike while I read lurid-covered science fiction magazines, and then did my two sets of eighteen exercises, for the fourth time this month. Finished and returned Kiln People to the library a whole week late, and picked up a DVD (looks like a cute pseudo-french sex comedy) that unfortunately will require all kinds of contortions to hook up and watch as The Television Is Broken.
Hey, that's big news at our house. I could go on for another thousand words easily about that. It went boink and the picture turned into a single line down the middle, and then went boink again and was dead, right in the middle of Antiques Roadshow last night. This evening I turned on the radio instead to listen to while I made dinner. The impact on our domestic tranquillity is profound: only three others in the house, and nothing to watch but summer re-runs. No worries. By next week we are likely to have another. My feelings about that are decidedly mixed.
