jaeleslie at 11:55am on 22/09/2003this bad old year could end any time. don't wait; january 1 is an arbitrary festival. here it is the equinox, so let's start now! wishing you all balance & wisdom in the new year. the harvest holds us through the waning of the light.
(you ozzies, yeah, the year turns the other way round. but it's a toss up for me whether spring, with the pale green and the summer to look forward to, is possibly better than fall, which is just barely more beautiful.)
