Another day melted away, and it's hard to recall where it went, and of all the minutia, what was best. Haircolor turned out okay. Half a dozen big mats are cut, so I'm only three days behind with the art fair prep. And so forth. I do really like reading and writing, and taking the time for it, even if it is just apahacking and email. Looking forward to the weekend now, it is always nice to spend time with friends, and Chris is just back from Paris and will have some adventures to tell while we sit around at the art fair booth.

Maybe the best was as small as the sparkly blue star I got on the calendar for another workout. The workout itself wasn't so great -- I thought I ought to try stepping down the weights on my upper-body stuff just to make sure that's not what is bothering my arms so much.

The very best thing today was possibly the very fine pear that I quartered for a snack at midafternoon. Or maybe it was that the kid set the table for dinner early, while I was resting, without even being asked.
