Just a little place-holder kind of post. It's late, what did I do with the day? Another star on the calendar to go with yesterday's workout star: I remember, I started the winter walking season with a little mile and a quarter around the mall, came home and announced I have again taken up Wall Mocking.

It was an interesting walk actually. There was some essay in the last London Review of Books I think it was about the American obsession with stuff, and materialism as it appears in literature, so I had all these deep thoughts that are far too profound to retrieve in my present tired and befuddled state. Something about the window shopping and the parade of Xmas trees up the middle of the mall provoked some little grey cells to fire on one another. Ah well. Today's casualties.

Actually I had a ceramics class in there too, but nothing to do there because it's the end of the session. (I have one piece waiting for glaze fire and one in the bisque kiln that I'll glaze next week.) So I left early, went to the library, stopped at Penzey's for needed baking spices, went to the mall. Bought a real hand-made wreath from the guy in the parking lot tree lot and chatted about business. Mostly it was a cooking day. I made bread dressing, to go with the leftover turkey bits in gravy, and steamed cauliflower for dinner. Then jelly thumbprint cookies this evening while taking in funny spy movie Miss Congeniality.

Last night was a great night for sleeping. I should go catch up some more right now. Mr S is getting ahead of me. He is a champeen sleeper.
