No reading and writing this morning. Today I was out of the house before ten a.m.! so that I could pick up the artworks from the Hilldale management offices, just in time to haul them all back Saturday morning for the All Guild Art Fair. Marcia met me to help with the packing and carrying, which is a good thing as my hands are really sore this week for no reason I know.

Then I had a coffee and a little walk around the mall, then I did a little grocery shopping. I am the kind of shopper that can tell other shoppers where to find items (plastic easter eggs) on the other end of the store, and this is not even my regular store (and I have had no call for plastic easter eggs in nearly ten years).

The old fellow who packed my grocery bags did a meticulous job, a nearly lost art, making a flat place for the egg carton out of a great many nobbly fruits and veg, so they ended up on top of the pineapple. We had a nice chat while the poor harried woman behind me in line piled up her stuff and waited. Just call me Miss Sweetness and Light.

Next, further preparations for the art fair. We are all on automatic pilot with this, but course corrections are occasionally necessary.
