jaeleslie at 02:09pm on 18/03/2003First, the good news is that my friend and I don't have to drive to Chicago this week to pick up our artworks from the Newberry Library, which was promising to be another entire day spent wrestling with city traffic for one or both of us.
The other good news is that our pieces are going to a "Celebrating the Book Arts" exhibit at the publisher's offices of Scott Foresman in Glenview, for April, May and June. The Chicago Calligraphy Collective committee that set up the Newberry show seems to have worked out a very neat coordination with the graphic designer from Scott Foresman for the pieces to go directly from one show to the next.
No bad news here. Move along.
