jaeleslie at 11:08pm on 16/06/2003Finally I have scanned most of the rest of my scrap book from last year's calligraphy conference. After I sewed it together last summer it actually took me several more months, up to about New Year's, to finish it. It contains a miscellany of poems and fragments by Whitman, Thomas Hardy, Tolkien, myself and others. The album of pages I have uploaded to Yahoo does not include a few page spreads that were Left Intentionally Blank or had only some collaged clipping from another artist. The show goes on for 28 page spreads after the cover:

Overall size of the book is about 6" x 4-1/2" x 3/4", six signatures stitched together with coptic stitch. I could make a catalog of all the media used, but it was a working studio notebook so the bits are extremely various. Ask if you have any questions about it!
