Why does it seem like I have spent Wednesday in recovery from Tuesday? Hmm. Heating pad? check. More water? check. 1000 mg Extra-Strength Tylenol? check. It's not like I haven't done anything today, although it feels like it, because once again I have failed to get to the drawing table to paint or glue anything, which gives me the impression that production is lagging. 1. I wrote a little email, and did a load of laundry.
2 & 3. Finished reading two (count em 2) books, The Voice of the Infinite in the Small which gave me lots of good ideas about insect symbolism (which I have been working through industriously chapter by chapter for two weeks), and Nicola Griffith's Stay (stand-alone sequel to The Blue Place and Wow, very Wow) -- read this book, only don't stay up all night like I did to finish it.
4 & 5. Read some depressing stuff on copyright issues in this postmodern world and looked at fun art at http://www.collageartist.com/ and various associated links.
6 & 7. Ran off some mailing labels and then set up the retro-computing center for printing out income & expense accounts, as part of the glacial progress of preparing income taxes.
8. Filed away three years' worth of my acnestiszine Fugitive Particulate Matter, taking not too much time to admire some of the stuff I wrote back when.
9 & 10. Took a walk, and shopped for groceries (the household is now consuming approximately a gallon of milk a day, and it's ain't me babe). And we're meeting friends for dinner at our favorite roadhouse, so that's that, and then I can fall over.
